I have notice over the past few years that there are less and less mysoganistic posts (a good thing ) but a rise in feminazis (don't know the opposite f mysoganistic) posts (a bad thing). So I've decided to have some fun everytime I see a meme that says all men are bastards I'm gonna reply with stuff like " who asked you to try them all "" or why not changing your type" ....any thoughts ?

I ran across a woman in this site today saying "all men are pigs". But I guess that's ok.

Simple solution stop dating pigs

Oh joy, so it continues.

Men are afraid of being called bad names.

Women are afraid of being raped and murdered.

Do you MAYBE see the social inequality of these as potential bad outcomes in interacting with the opposite sex?!

Who said I was afraid of being called names ? And I so cannot recall raping or murdering anyone . You are making some massive assumptions there

@Simon1, I was speaking of generalities.

Men and women go out drinking. Who gets drugged and raped? Over 90% women, rarely happens to men except in Gay clubs.

A man and woman meet for a first date. Women who are safety conscious set up an alert word with a friend who can rescue them if needed. Yeah, it's come to that.

@TaraMarshall I hope none of my dates would feel the need to do that no matter how bad they date is she can just leave

@Simon1, okay, so you might be a decent guy. I was date raped in college, and I'm not letting it happen again.

I think people are misunderstanding what the OP means. He's talking about extremists. You can't defend extremists on one side and demonize those on the other side and think you are taking the moral high ground. He's not talking about women in general or feminists who want equal rights. He's talking about the women who have extreme views against men. They do exist.

This guy gets it !!!

They absolutely do. Then again, he's setting himself as a very good example of why they have extreme views. According to the original post "I've decided to have some fun" - intentionally being offensive because it's a fun thing for him to do. A great way to reinforce exactly what supposedly offends him.

@obviouspseudonym I don't think his opinion has anything to do with why those extreme women have the thoughts they do. Would you say the same for a guy who has extreme thoughts because all the women he dated or met treated him badly or "had some fun" in stringing him along or whatever else games they played? I've been treated badly by some women before, but I know they're not all the same or don't "need to be slaves to women" or "killed" etc. like I've read about and heard from some extreme women. At what point do you expect a woman with extreme thoughts like that to actually take responsibility for what they say and think? You are expecting the OP to take responsibility for his words. So why not those women?

@Piece2YourPuzzle I've never said they shouldn't, but that wasn't what he asked about. He asked for opinions of what he was doing. That's what I gave him.

@obviouspseudonym I took what you said as blaming him for their views. It really looked like it.

@Piece2YourPuzzle Ahh. I'm not blaming him for anything but his own words/actions.

Great brother.... you got your feedback . Now you know not to do that ... that someone else said they were going to do. Move on....

Is that the person who blocked me ?

@Simon1. Yes!

@BucketlistBob I never had any discussion s with that person so I don't know why they blocked me .she just wrote a message on here and blocked me before I could read it . The people I'm referring to are all on Facebook .

@Simon1. Ok brother...I thought it was that lady.

@BucketlistBob lol so what you are basically saying is that without asking this person has assumed I was talking about her and blocked me that is hillarious .

If a meme is truly misandristic, I'd suggest to just call it out for what it is. To say something like "who asked you to try them all" is degrading because you're implying that women are "sluts" and reinforcing the stigma that only men can enjoy sex. The "why not change your type" bit seems patronizing and similar to victim blaming and almost as if you have a nice guy complex (I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, just showing you how those comments would likely be interpreted). As over used as this expression is, two wrongs don't make a right. Stand up to inequalities, but don't stoop to a similar level of hate--be better than that. 🙂

The examples I've given probably not the best just simplistic . The ones i have replied to I have thought a bit more on and have had fairly good responses

I think you'll then be used as the example of the misogynist enabler, and an example of belittling women who call it out - since that's what you'll be doing.

Which is relevant exactly how?

@goldenvalleyguy He's intentionally trolling, and being offensive. Reinforcing the stereotype he supposedly objects to.

The opposite of misogynistic is Misandry. As for your post, whatever floats your boat. Without actually seeing the memes I can't comment on them specifically.

The thing is, women have endured misogyny for what seems like forever. We have been viewed as the weaker sex, less intelligent, less worthy. Now that we are finally finding our voice (some) men are intimidated and complain about losing their worth as a man.

All I can say is, we've been feeling that for an eternity. Now you know how it feels.

They know a fraction of what it feels like.

The pendulum always swings both ways before it rests in the middle. Women will be loud and aggressive until equality is accepted and expected. To call them feminazi's is degrading.

@NotAndrew So you think that women being loud, and aggressive until equality is accepted, and expected should be degraded. Exactly why is that?

@NotAndrew How is it you think women should conduct themselves?

@NotAndrew Maybe you should now explain why any women, anywhere, should ever consider what you feel is the correct way for them to behave? Thank you, though, for providing the perfect example of the entitled male who has no clue they're the problem, and is so insecure that they need to degrade women who are different than what they want. Bravo!

@NotAndrew You missed shrill, uppity, and a few other of the classic misogynist female descriptors. Not a very good try. You'll need to study up on the rest of the terminology.

What's a feminazi?

The batshit crazy feminists the ones who want to chop all men's willies off and destroy mankind so womankind kind rule ...not the sane ones who want equality

Misandrist............... one who hates men
I think that is what simon1 is referring to.

@Simon1 I have never met any of those types of women and I know a lot of feminists. I don't think all women who seek equality should be herded into one definition.

@patchoullijulie I'm not hurding all feminists as one real feminists are called feminists and the real crazy ones I call feminazis I do realise there's a massive difference

@Simon1 Herding Misandry. Vocabulary.

Laid. You not any time soon.

@Simon1

All I can say is that I want equality between the sexes, but the number of times I've labelled a feminazi by angry men I can't count.

@Simon1 I was hoping that was the case. ?

@Ellatynemouth I'm careful who I label as it as I know lots of feminists and they have taught me well

@SallyMc not over a certain age no the younger generation is full of them ....oh and it's just a word , words can't physically hurt you

@Simon1

Simon. I defend you. You are right to question misandry, because I believe it does exist, usually in the middle class academic TERF type feminists.

But the word feminazi is problematic. It just inflames things.

@Ellatynemouth I know and I don't use it when having discuss ions with these people . Rule No1 never use personal insults just attack the ideas . I just used it here to give a better idea to others outside the situation

As a woman, I think it's high time to let women have their voice. Fighting it is futile. It will all even out, just give it time.

I agree with you and I hope it does even out that's proper equality after all . I'm just saying I want to have some fun with the ones that take it to far

@Simon1 be prepared to get your ass handed to you. poke the bear? Women finding their voices will finally reduce the blatant sexually unbalanced society we live in.

@Kimberclimbs so far I've had a good response 9 out of ten response have either laughed or joked back just the odd one or two who have taken it personally
