Im 26 and I actively participate in discussions with people who are most of the times 30 years elder to my age. I feel really comfortable with thier ideas and I feel we are on same wavelength. Sometimes when I feel lost I just go to them and talk for a while and feel oriented again. When I have a drink with them they are really nice and talk relavently. Is this something weird? And Am I the only one?

You are not 'weird'. (By the way I strive to be weird to avoid hanging with the sheep). Too much emphasis is put on us to respond only to our own age groups, types, groups, ethnicities etc.etc.. How limiting is that? We can all learn something of value from other people and the more diverse your group is, the more you will learn, understand and appreciate. To me hanging only with people of my age group would bore me to tears. I want to stay relevant and interested in what is going on outside my door. My friends range from young to older and I wouldn't want it any other way.

You sound like an "old soul" -- physical age isn't an issue. More power to you.

I am glad. Us old farts do have a few pearls of wisdom we have gleaned from our experiences and are glad to be able to help any time we can.

I would say...you might not be normal...lol...you may be searching beyond your own norm! It will be useful, keep it up!

It's not "weird", and you are probably not alone.
There are some younger people who realize that us older folks might actually know some things which could prove be helpful when trying to navigate life.
