HELP...HELP....!

Few days ago I finished watching -for the n time- all the 'Death Wish" movies. Now, and since I am in a romantic mood, I want to watch The three musketeers....but I can't find a video.
Does anyone have a site or link for this movie.
No the versions with D. Fairbanks or J. Wayne.

Recently watched "Justified" again, via amazon.

And just before that i read the short story by Leonard. think i will find the pilot script.

A fun thing is to watch Ground Hog day and read the script at the same time.

Here is a link to the 1993 version- [sharemovies.net]
Hope that helps some. I think Vodlocker or Putlocker may have it as well, hope you have an adblocker though if you go on those sites, lots of pop-ups. Sharemovies appears to be an okay site.

Thanksssssss

I have The Three Musketeers and Four Musketeers on DVD. If you're unable to find it to stream I'll let you borrow them.

Probably you are talking about the new, animated, versions.

@DUCHESSA Nope. I'm talking about the Michael York/Raquel Welch/Oliver Reed ones.

I did see them available on YouTube, however you need to have a subscription/pay for them

@kiramea I always watch the movies for free.

I thought the Death Wish movies were vile. There was a rape scene in one of them that was sick.

It was not a rape scene but an attempt rape scene....and if you are aware of what is going on on the streets of NYC, LA and other big cities you won't think the movies BUT MANKIND IS VILE.
BTW, THE MESSAGE IN THOSE MOVIES IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAT THE ONE YOU THINK.

@DUCHESSA

I'm referring to the Death Wish films from the 70s, especially Death Wish 2. I didn't realise there have been remakes.

@Ellatynemouth I know you were talking about those films. The modern one is a poor imitation. There are 5original movies and are not remakes.

@DUCHESSA

In that case I have to disagree with you.

My opinion about Death Wish 2 came from watching a TV documentary about censorship.

In it they used the Death Wish 2 film to explain how and why they censor. They used a clip of a housemaid being raped and murdered by a gang who'd broken into a house. She ended up naked on a kitchen floor. I found it truly sickening.

And judging from other films he's directed, I'd say Michael Winner was a bit of a misogynistic bastard:-

[independent.co.uk]

@Ellatynemouth It may be sickening for you and for many others....but the truth is that scene shows what happened / happens many times in real life....and the fear of this reality is what sickens people. Why the censorship? To prevent the panic from taking over.
At the end of the first of the five movies (I saw it at the movie-theater) the people stand up and clapped during several minutes.

@Ellatynemouth The rape scene presents what prompted PK to vicome a vigilante...the death of his wife / rape of his daughter...and the scene where the attempted rape take place is in DW 3...
I feel all these movies present a reality the American people don't want to accept. The one about the gangs in NYC is a master-piece.

Have you tried your local library, they usually have a good selection of DVD's you can take out and if they don't have what you want they can often bring it in from other branches. I don't watch TV because there is no cable on the island where I live but I do borrow DVD's from the library so I get to choose the better programs and avoid all the mind candy that is on cable TV.

That's a good idea....but I love to watch them directly from the puter...

@DUCHESSA You can always play them on your computer if it has a slot for DVD's.

@Surfpirate Of course my puter has a slot for DVD....but I don't like that way.

@DUCHESSA most tablets don't have a DVD slot and some of the laptops are going the same way, that's why I mentioned it.

@Surfpirate But I don't use tablets / laptops. I have a puter that I operate by touching the screen and a a second one that works as a smart-board

@DUCHESSA Now I know, best of luck getting it sorted out. I always enjoyed The 3 Musketeers, avoid the latest TV series from a few years back as it's not very good.
Gerard Depardieu is excellent in Cyrano de Bergerac (1990) if you are in the mood for some French swordplay but can't find The 3 Musketeers.
