I was once told by a bar cook that you fry them first, dip them in the hot sauce, and then bake them for a bit. delicious!

How did you end up making them? Were you happy with the results?

I chicken fryed them.... i love that fattening crust. I cooked half of them . Im having a few for lunch...lol.

@BucketlistBob sounds awesome!

Read what's on the package: 12% Chicken broth (=99% water). So you pay the chicken wing price for the added water, you can get from your faucet at home too. I buy them "fresh" from the farmers market. They may have been frozen, but not injected. They add ice - after weighing - so they keep cool during transport. By the way, I don't practice the "meat-burning-habit" of the BBQ-ers, so I bake them after at least 24 hour in my home-made marinade, in the oven, just as I would with baby-ribs 🙂.

I mean the pig-ribs, baby ribs sounds gross.

@Gert its ok...

Interesting...

@BucketlistBob It is interesting, and creating your own marinade (also for me based on a receipt but adding my own ingredients), has shown much nicer than taking it from a bottle.

These days, I'm really into WingStop's Lemon Pepper dry rub, extra crispy.

I'm a vegetarian, so I don't know. 😟

I went with fry without batter because there was no deep fry option.

Deep fry if your cardiologist is far away or smoke is good. But to be healthy as possible, bake.

Seems like ya got about 25-30 wings in there, why not do a few small batches in different ways for the heck of it?

Some fried in a good o'l peppery flour mix after an egg wash.
Some BBQ'ed with a sauce that you've made
The rest baked in a beer batter.

All of which would go nicely with some good beer or a nice whiskey.

-bon appetit!

I tried half of them... yummm

Use heat

I would have vote BBQ but since I no longer have a grill, I went with bake.

Slow cooker (crock-pot) mushrooms, garlic, onion and taragon

That sounds good.

They look like they're already battered. So just bake them and then, maybe, use the dipping sauce of your choice.
