I like both but I think Dio was better in Sabbath than Solo while I think Ozzy was better solo than with Sabbath.I did like Dio's stuff with Rainbow as well although much preffered Joe Lynn Turner in that band.

Dio. He's a better singer and the superior lyricist.

Both have merrit, Ozzy has had a much longer and fuller career, Ozzy made Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath made Ronnie James Dio. So really compairing the two is the old apples and organges thing. Holy Diver was an excellent album, but I'm glad my brother talked me out of having the album cover tattoed on my back. Ozzy or Dio? both are in my shuffle play list.
