This isn't teaching religion. This is indoctrination.

Religious teachers have a very biased curriculum from which to teach. They also don't necessarily know much about debating theistic assumptions and will defer to ingrained circular answers and Dogma to avoid argument.

@Gwendolyn2018 yeh my exact point. It always comes back to bias towards one particular religious idea. the whole idea of religion is from a bygone age.

Why it's called Dogma and not Catma? Cats don't blindly, or for that matter ever, OBEY and not question. We are born of and with Faith and that faith will exist without Religion, but the Religion will not exist without YOUR Faith. Be cautious to who or whom you allow access.

although i like cats - the answer is that the word "Dogma" was transliterated in the 17th century from Latin meaning "philosophical tenet", which was derived from the Greek dogma (Greek: δόγμα ) meaning literally "that which one thinks is true" and dokein (Greek: dokeo) which means "to seem good," 🙂

If you are in that class with the only purpose to antagonize your teacher then I think it's a safe bet to say you are going to lose. I get that it's fun to do that sometimes but makes me wonder why are you in that class to begin with?

@Bierbasstard that's kind of what I thought and the follow up question would be... Does she want to graduate or not? Life at times is about to compromise. Learn to pick your fights.... That's my thinking out loud comment for her
