Take the car keys, when he passes out, put him on his belly and turn his head to the side just in case he barfs. If there are underage people drinking on your property, do not let them leave. Don't drink with them. Make sure they never take more than a few shots an hour. .... just keep them alive.i recommend Stanley Steamer for the next day.
Don't know the drinking age in Alabama. Hope its 18. Do you really want to leave your humble abode alone? I didn't have the problem unfortunately. My daughter dropped out at 17 and at 22 has yet to go back and get her GED. Wish I did. Don't know if that helped at all. I guess you thank your lucky stars he graduated - one step for mankind lol.
He clearly felt comfortable breaking the law in front of you and to me that's the best place to start this conversation. Had my son brought that into my house all of it would have been destroyed in front of him. But he knew better as I brought him up right and so it was never an issue.
All kinds of really bad shit could happen. Drunk 18 year olds are notorious for wrecking cars and all sorts of stupid lethal stunts. But here's the main thing, if something happens how likely are you to be held liable for what ever happened?
Do you have the local ER and Police on speed dial? Does your son drive?(hide his car keys). Any of his friends into drugs? Even Marijuana has side effects, killing your drive to accomplish and do things. My 50 year old step son was into drugs at the age of 10,the succession of youth authority, jails, prisons effectively halted his maturity,so now here he is,no skills, with girls who look like "Scum of the Earth".
