About 2 years ago I was contacted by a guy I went to 6th and 7th grade with. We got to chatting and it was nice. We got in contact with another girl in our class and we all went out to drinks. (Mind you, 3 of us was like about 30% of 7th grade at this particular school) Anyway, we chatted and kept in touch and it's all very fun. We talked about religion, we went to a private christian school together after all and I told him I was a non believer now and there was a little debate about that. He told me he had always had a crush on me and we should get together, (to fulfill HIS fantasy, not mine, lol) I told him no thanks. He said that because I was an atheist it shouldn't matter to me. I told him I still had morals and cheating on my husband and hurting my family wasn't something I needed a god to tell me wasn't a good idea. But then I told him that while I didn't have to worry about it from a sky daddy HE did! I asked how he thought it was ok to sleep with a married woman? He said, "Hey we're all sinners, I just ask for forgiveness." I blasted back at the idiocy of this kind of thinking and nope, he thinks it's all good. Forethought doesn't matter. Reason #32 I think Christianity is stupid.

I have found that in my life, I have had much trouble from
“Christians” than non-believers. In my entrepreneurial years I pulled about four large knives out of my back that had been put there by folks whose ass was in a church pew every Sunday. Reprehensible behaviors but y’know, just ask for forgiveness and start again ! ???

Ohhh the hypocrisy. I'd say incredible but I've seen it too often.

Wow. What an ass. What an ass with excuses to be an ass. What a self-justifying ass.

The ignorance of most christians knows no boundaries...

1

Christians are ignorant of what the Bible says about those who are Christians and continue to sin.
Hebrews 6:4-6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
Hebrews 10:26-29 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Sure all have sinned and nobody is going to Heaven since Heaven doesn't exist.@pepperjones

This is why I find it difficult to trust anyone who claims to be Christian. To many use it as excuse to do whatever they want.

Christianity = zero intellectual integrity. Its baked into the cake.

@pepperjones sometimes that's impossible for people to do, when they are told from the get go that their eternity relies on them just having faith that the tales are true. Even for many intelligent people, those switches and buttons, installed before they could ever understand otherwise, are much harder to shake.

Honestly, I feel sorry for those folks.

There is a whole lot more than 32 reasons, but good on ya.

Wow. Just wow.

Lol! I figured some of them thought like that.

Salvation by faith is really reason #1 not to be a Christian. According to Christians John Gotti is in heaven while Einstein and Gandhi are in hell.

It's interesting how many religious work around their religion, and accept the frequent hypocrisy as being almost accepted in their life. Maybe it illustrates how little they actually think about it - it just "is". So scary!

What a cretin. How lucky you are that he found you. 😉

Wait ... had he been stalking you when he "found" you?

He didn't believe you? Eeeeyewww! He's a piece of work he is.

They keep changing the goal posts as and when it suits them..He presents himself as a practicing Christian who looks down at our morals, yet he has no principles when he is looking down a Married woman's blouse. ??

@pepperjones I've always thought the blithe, pompous way some religious use the sentence, "You're in for a surprise when you die!" shows a decidedly NOT religious personality. I mean, shouldn't they be seriously concerned about you? It should be an awful thing to have to tell you. But they enjoy the exclusivity of heaven way too much to care about you.

@pepperjones When this prick kicks the bucket he will not be conscious to be aware that he is dead and is going nowhere! Such a pity! The joke is on him...

@pepperjones wouldn’t it be just fantastic if for the shortest moment after they die, there is a realization of believing in lies and the acknowledgement of nonexistence?

@nothinnxprevails yes!! Lol!! That's the only downside to being on this side of reality... We never get the satisfaction of saying... Well i told you so!! And witnessing that homer simpson.." d'oh!"moment!
???????

Works for pedo priests, and the church even protects them. Go christians? They can do anything and still believe they have morals.

2

that almost sounds like if you are a Christian you don't have to have morals
