Even if the accusation turns out to be true, we are all human, imperfect and fallible, like the gods who created us. Have we forgotten about Zeus, and the Hebrew god's favorites, David and Salomon?
Maybe it is better just not to have idols.

Great answer. Short, simple...and true.
Awwww.....hell Simon.... im guilty of doing what hes accused of. Not in the position of authority tjough. All the guys i hung with did and said what hes accused of. I personally never used my supervisory position as a way to interact in a inappropriate way... now when i went to parties and to the club... thats different. I don't find a compliment out of line.
@BucketlistBob think I've said Worse and had worse said to me I think it's all to do withe what type of relationship you have with people .
Being famous can inflate one's ego, where they don't realize they have crossed a line. That could be compounded by that fact that, as a powerful person, underlings don't immediately express their concern, when the lines are crossed. They are probably afraid to resist. They should be told, they can say "no".

Agree with other posters--very disappointed. I suppose it was accepted in the past, but that still doesn't make it right. It's a shame that women are told that they need to "demand" respect--why is it not intrinsic?

Males are not biologically monogamous (google Coolidge effect), and some men with power try to enjoy sex with every woman they can (JFK, Trump, Wilt Chamberlain, and Genghis Khan come to mind). So I wouldn't call it a disease, just unacceptable workplace behavior. No one should have to accept harrassment to earn a living.
@doug6352 I was the air force welding shop supervisor. I had a master technician badge on my uniform. I went to a technical base to certify in a special weld application. Piece of cake for me. They ask me if I would consider teaching there. I went to an airmans club and set with a group of trainees out of basic. I had them falling all over me because of my rank and badge on my uniform. The females were flirting with me. I was only 22 at the time. The point is... I would of been kicked out of the airforce with an article 15 if I would of acted out on any of those girls. The military is strick on cheating. I had good morals anyway.
