Maybe it also works with limes 🙂

I study plants for fun. Lemons turn yellow in response to a temperature drop that occurs around harvest time in North America and Southern Europe. This temperature change does not drop low enough for lemons to change color in equatorial nations, and they remain green.

So these could easily be lemons, just with too many cloves.

But aren't lemons longer and not so round ?

@Simon1, depends upon the type of lemon. You've probably been raised with the lemons commonly sold in the USA or Europe. Moroccan lemons are shorter and rounder.

Does it work?

I'm in lansing michigan and i have been very concerned about the invasion of flying diseases.

3

That is a cut lime...not a lemon.

Not necessarily. In countries where the temperature doesn't drop around harvesting time, lemons stay green.

You shouldn't trust any "health advice" you get from a facebook ad

I definitely don't the person who posted it does when I pointed out the obvious mistake they said ah well they citrus so it must be the same

3

Besides the citrus being different in the pic as in the description, each 'lime' has over 20 cloves (not 10-15) PLUS one mosquito is a cartoon, I ,like those kind...hehehe...

Besides, 'Dengue' is a type of virus, not a type of insect....do we call people with aids, "Aids people"??...no.

Those are limes not lemons.

There are 20 cloves in each half ?

Such an obvious mistake so why should I beIieve someone who can't even get that. Right

The dengue mosquitoes that I know do hate lemons but they love limes. Therefore, this picture is misleading and will in fact attract dengue mosquitoes.

Ooo is that documented anywhere ?

@Simon1 I was just trying to be silly as the citrus obviously is a lime and not a lemon.

@SamHarrisFan I googled it could only find stuff saying its bollox and doesn't work

I am curious where you met these mosquitoes that you 'know'?...at a bar perhaps?
I once knew a girl who hated kumquats but loved to do butt squats. She also loved tequila but could never say 'I need ya'...weird indeed. When she finally shaved her body, she knew she could get a better man than my brother, I agreed.

Looks like two "halves" and a Lime, not a Lemon.
