This is a song I wrote 35 years ago, first song I ever wrote. I was always eh about it until Jade sang it. It was a long distance relationship giving us only a few same room months a year... She would be the one that got away, neither of us wanted that but logistics beat us down... we will be best friends forever, 3,000 Miles can handle that mush.
This is about the third time I've listened to it. Found it on your YT for Ardent Octopus. Love it. Thanks for sharing. I'm not sure I knew you wrote it. You should be proud. Good job.
Thank you, it was inspired by the carousel in Coney Island and a girl the first year of college.
@ArdentAtheist, have you written any others?
@BeeHappy a few, I’ve been much more of collaborator.
@ArdentAtheist so does Ardent Octopus still perform?
@BeeHappy no more, Pete and I dream of putting the band back together. We never broke it up officially since we like each other but now live 1,000 miles apart, although some kind of joint musical projects not out of the question, we are getting together next month… But that’s more about friendship and sanity and it is the band We played together so long I know what his cord changes are going to be before he does
@ArdentAtheist sounds like a friendship to cherish.
