I go out for Karaoke, poker night with friends, Theatre, and long conversations over coffee or beers.

I have coffee with friends every morning before work. I walk a few times a week with walking buddies, I belong to a meditation group, I go out for happy hours, I go to the indie film house which is 2 blocks away, and visit the Slovenian pastry shop that is next door, oh also the crepe place across the street. Sometimes I hang at the bookstore up the block and just read..

I've just started organising a walking club in the village and it's had a better response than I was expecting - so hopefully I'll be having some fun outings to cafes and suchlike and making new friends

I enjoy occasional Sunday afternoon beach parties with a social meetup group. We bring our own beverages and snacks to share, bbq or whatever, chairs, beach blankets and shade. We chat, drink, swim, chat a bit more until the sun goes down. We solve a lot of the world's problems while treading water in the bay, but somehow our solutions don't always make a lot of sense come Monday morning!

Nothing like this anymore. I never really had friends I spent quality time with. I meant all my remaining time with my wife. Then we went out.
