It's come up a few times, so I'll make the suggestion: ability for the group host and/or moderators to send a group message, to all group members or moderators.

That would be a welcomed addition. For the moment, I have resorted to just doing a post in the groups I host and pinning it to the top.

I guess that's similar to just posting a post to a group, right? Members who want alerts from a post will get it and see the message.

Yes but sometimes we get members who really want their bell rung! 😉

Oh I mean - envelope.

Rather than receive alerts for all posts, along with posts from host/mod... or none in the case of having the alert turned off, this would be available only to the host/mod and being a message the group members would be less likely to miss it.

@Admin That's what I do, and I pin said post to the top for all members to see, and that seems to work good. Quick suggestion- I'm thankful to have the option as a group host to pin posts to the top, but could group hosts maybe also get the option to pin other member posts that a group host might think are important?
