This is horrendous..in our country bad cops are shunned by other cops because they bring the force into disrepute. The police need the backing and support of the whole community to be taken seriously...for the people by the people. Very sad.

We should not have police in this country and give their job to the National Guard! I am not talking about martial law, where everyone is forced into their homes by military but an actual military law enforcement group that is trained and goes through daily training to keep in shape! I heard one Teller County Sheriff (Colorado), tell a man that if he ran he would just "shoot him because he was too old to chase after him." Why should the tax payer pay twice to protect our country, once to the police and twice to the military? Get rid of the police and give that job to the National Guard so we can save some tax money and have professionals protecting us not thugs in uniform!

There is something wrong in the testing of these police for these types of incident.There must be a better way to determine how they will react in these situations. I would like to know how many of these police that shoot first are former veterans. I would think they have had the practice to determine when to shoot and when not to. I may be wrong and it could be just the opposite . Regardless I would like to know if any or how many are involved.
