My children, without a doubt. They keep me grounded just as they keep me reaching for the stars.

A few small (and not quite so small) humans.
And of course, Her Royal Cuteness.

My Dogs. They force you to be honest and authentic at all times. You can't fake it with them and they don't with you.

My physician, lol.

My wife. No doubts at all she gets the credit.
Because of her I have learnt to be comfortable with being me. I can accept my flaws and have the courage to try to be better.

That said, I will always hate doing the dishes. No matter how often I agree it will be one of my contributions to the household.

George....I buy my clothes at Wal-Mart

My wife and my kids. My baby sister. She's going to be 46 tomorrow. My oldest friend. We've been friends for 52 years.

Without question my children and grandchildren. My partner can bring out my best as well.

Me. And no, I am not arrogant, self-absorbed or anything similar. I try to embrace Stoicism. Ultimately, everything is up to how I think, which I can control. To be clear, I have great kids, had some great teachers and professors at the two best universities in the world (public and private), awesome relatives and siblings, all of it. I also had a horrific father, the kind people say "No wonder you are in prison poor guy." Except not. How I react is up to me. As it is with you. Others can walk with you, but not for you.

Others can only exemplify and inspire. It is still our responsibility to 'dredge-up' our best because of them.

sigh......

Ohh .. 😟

@Varn 😟 ..... someone who's not mine.

A few close friends who "get" me.

My wife. She's about the oddest person I've ever known, has OCD and is pathologically incapable of keeping her feelings to herself; but she's also proactive, unwaveringly compassionate and scrupulously honest... The precise opposite of myself. I've gained a lot from trying to be more like her.

A couple of the great college professors I had and my sons!

My children, my siblings, my close friends.

Pretty much anyone.
Depends more on the situation/circumstances.

My sweetie! And it's not always easy, either...but, it's worth it.

Truly it had been my father and my first wife the first tens of marriage but clearly in the last 10-12 years it’s been me. My second wife had been like a child and I already have a son but I have always relied on my intuition, intelligence, insight, and my compassion and integrity. I have to add that I have had through out my life some extraordinary friends who have had important effects and influences which were so positive

That would be my girls and the grandchildren.

Small children and animals.

Video games where the decisions you make effect the game.

Aww, sometimes — just sometimes — I like to play through again but be reeeally bad. ? Did that with the old Jedi Knight game and the cheat codes active... It was So Much Fun.
