Sorry for your loss. I hate when that happens. It's an epidemic in this country. I've had so many bikes stolen in Lexington, KY. i was young, naive and didnt keep them locked. As well as stereos in cars even though those were locked. Tore my cars all to pieces getting it out. In Orlando, FL I would run one cable thru the wheels, another thru the frame and seat. Didn't have a bike stolen in Orl because of that. Locked it EVERY time. I've seen many locked bikes with a wheel or seat missing. Trick with car stereos is to make it appear like there's not one in the car. Using a cover or detachable face.

Sucks. I still have nightmares of stolen bikes. Report the crime just in case. Have it on the books anyway. Humans. Not my favorite either. Bet it was a guy.

Whoa, that's freaky ! I'm in Florida too, though way north of you. MINE was stolen last night ! Cops were here earlier to get a description and all that. It wasn't anything fancy but I had all my little comforts and gadgets on it, and me and that bike did a whole lot of miles together , and I miss it ... Damn creepers anyway. If I see anyone riding around on it , I may get myself arrested ...
