A couple of weeks ago, ago I went to buy a christmas gits and stocking stuffers for my family at a local store. The woman behind the cash had on a bright sweater and a elf hat. On the sweater was "Keep CHRIST in Christmas" and "Jesus is the reason for the season".
I could not help it.
I said: " You know, if anyone but a christian decided to wear a shirt, in a business, that attacked other peoples beliefs or lack of, it would be considered discrimination. Plus, go study history. Pagans and druids are the reason for the season. AND, Pope Julius 1 moved Christmas from March to December to try and get over-ride and get rid of the pagan winter solstice festivity - the one where they brought in trees, greenery, yule logs and feasted" Maybe you should read your bible from cover to cover and do some research"
Then I said and if the word Christmas means you have to believe in christ, then the word Thursday means you have to believe in THOR.
My order had been totalled: $327.42.
I told her, since she thought only christians should celebrate "Christmas", she could cancel the order, and maybe rethink owning a shop.
Three people ( with carts) behind me left with me, obviously they didn't like her shirt either... It was WoNdErFuL!

I had a friend who did the ugly sweater contest at her work for xmas....sounds like she had the same get-up...I told her, hey maybe they should make xmas really special and only worship once a year, like it was a birthday....(even though you nailed the history of xmas, it is a way to usurp the pagan solstice)...we could call it 'christian history week'....and they can say whatever they want about xstianity for that week...get it out of their system for the rest of the year...think it will fly?

Happy solstice. 
So here's a novel thing. When Christians of European descent insist on this whole Christmas thing, I explain to them that they are following a Middle Eastern religion and their ancestors were murdered or forced to convert to Christianity. I then congratulate them for making a Middle Eastern religion their way of life and ignoring their own ancestry.
