I just bent over to pick up a weed and a woody stem went righit up my nose - gardening huh!

Lucky it wasn't your eye...at least you have 2 eyes to water..which I'm sure they did..careful now!

felt stupid as I really didnt see it - strange how embarrassing it can be to be caught out being stupid!

@jacpod Dont be a silly billy... I can't tell you how many freak aaccidents I have had, still here fit as a fiddle to laugh at them, and recount them over a few beers on a shark fishing boat ..singing show me the way to go home! Lol

I used to wear sunglasses at night during the cotton harvest so I had eye protection if I had to get off the tractor and kneel down to work on the harvest equipment amongst those woody stalks!! I feel your pain!!

sounds like an excellent idea thanks I'd probably need a nose cap as well!

@Agirlhasnoname Maybe the full heavy metal armour? I am accident prone but usually just small ones.
