My lack of belief in God has nothing to do with morals good or bad, it has to do with God not existing good or bad. For better or worse I would always choose reality.

I've always said that religion appropriates morality from society and claims to be its inventor and protector. Religion is good at cultural appropriation. It has to be; it is incapable of inventing or innovating anything of actual value.
