I find almost all of Trump's speech patterns at best semi-literate, garbled, impulsive, cynical lies, manipulative distortions of truth to benefit himself. His talk about clemency is just more of the same.

He is setting the stage to pardon himself and those who are convicted without giving him up.

Trump is sending a message to Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort that if they don't flip and spill the goods on Trump that he will pardon them so they won't go to jail.

I'm sure there is someone. There are so many people here who hate anything Trump does! I think Trump is doing a great job on pardons/clemency. Hopefully Martha Stewart is next! Blagojevich doesn't deserve a pardon, but a reduction in his excessive sentence does seem warranted.
