A shortage of supply to meet demand is definitely one way to raise wages. I suppose you can give Trump credit where credit is due.. After all, the people who were actually willing to do these low end fast food jobs have now been deported.

You have to wonder how much companies like Chick-fil-A and McDonald's love Trump now. Not so long ago they were pissing and moaning about having to pay $10.25/ hr. plus benefits.

In Switzerland jobs like that pay $20+ per hour, and if all we need to do to become Switzerland is deport all the illegal workers then I am all for it. Imagine living in a country with no poor people? It sounds very good to me.
