Honestly.

I wonder, about how truthful and reflective your social media image is to the real life course that you are on? I've made the connection to the RL me hard to track down through my social media, but the rest that I put out there is damn near what its like in my world. I'm exceptionally honest as to what is going on in my head, and my life and what I'm like. I saw a meme the other day that if your real life could be as good as your Facebook life is, that would be awesome.

I don't know if its like that for anybody else, but to see me on FB or twitter is basically to see me in RL. I know my ex uses his to boost his self image and lifestyle - the shit he posts, the pictures he displays, etc is pure fiction. I was there, I saw the truth - so I'm not convinced by getting rid of me, his life suddenly turned into something spectacular. So, when I look at your social media image, what am I seeing?

I post this because I was asked what was I really like, and I said, you've seen the blog? the FB? the twitter? the Heathens-R-Us posts? That is what I'm like.

I think I’m well represented by my social media

Not really accurate - I tend to post a pale shadow of my reality, in order to avoid being accused of BS.

My social media presence makes me look like a weirdo with an odd sense of humor and an interest in gaming and science. So pretty spot-on

What you see is what you get, kiddo.

I definitely do not make things up for social media or try to be something better than I am. But, I don't put my life out there either. To know me better, people would have to actually communicate with me. People use social media for all kinds of reasons, from keeping in touch with people they already know irl (what I do) to profiling/showcasing themselves or their work/hobby or just trying to feel good about themselves and get validation from others, etc.
Part of it is also choosing what you want to see on there. For example, not friending someone or at least unfollowing them so they don't drag you down.

You’re only seeing, feeling, hearing, touching, and smelling a very small portion of me. I do what I can.

I am a virtual entity here. That's all there is to it. You can dig into my way of thinking, that's as far as this train will go. I have enough reality in my personal life...this is a separate universe and I like it that way. That's what you see from IamNobody. The real person behind it, no one see anything on the open and it is intended this way. It is not meant to deceive anything. Hope this helps
