Yep. Case in point. Trump took all credit for the stock market increases, although one could argue that the booming stock market in trump's first year was the residual effect of Obama's economy. When the stock market had two record drops in one week not a peep could be heard from trump. He should have apologized for the drop and then said, "I take full responsibility, the buck stops here."

@Beach_slim but the point remains that trump took way too much credit for the stock market increases and zero responsibility when it had the record falls. He wants to accept all credit and say he is the reason for anything that is good... yet when the same thing happens in the opposite direction he always blames someone else. Either the stock market results, good and bad, are because of him or they are not. He can't have it both ways, which was the point of this person's original post.

I think if you take an economy and triple the stock market while (not only stop the bleeding of jobs under the previous president) creating millions of jobs and driving the unemployment rate to near record lows all despite a Congress that is nothing but a roadblock to you, then you've been a great president and done a decent job with the economy.
