Can pardons be overturned by a succeeding president?

good question Petter.

I doubt it Petter. I've never heard of it. and I reckon that goes against the whole idea of a 'pardon'. but I'm no lawyer thank goodness.

@hankster Be great if it were reversible in cases of "miscarriage of justice or abuse of constitutional powers"

@Petter it also be great if we don't have to worry about such silly stuff.

Probably not but if there is no blue wave in November that exception will be written in the constitution with 45's pudgy little hands.

The United States was founded on the principle that no one is above the law.

I realize that as a nation we seem to be sacrificing a lot of principles for convenience and profit, but the Orange POS hasn't been appointed Führer as far as I know.
