What inspires heart melting in you?
Puppies do it for me. Just the pure innocence of them. Real acts of kindness and compassion from people. Also, hot chocolate.
OK, the last one is a joke. ; )
I was going to say puppies. Now I feel like I can't say puppies because you said puppies.
But yeah, PUPPIES!!! Lol
I like dogs in general. My brother and his son have a Rottweiler that's about 160 pounds...but she's the sweetest dog you could meet.
The laughter of a child.
Any type of Art that captures perfect positive moments or thoughts.
Unconditional acts of love in people or nature.
Extraordinary kindness.
Well... it doesn't make my heart melt... but it makes my sides hurt!!
Melt heart:
My 3 yo son opposite end of sofa, looks up from tablet... looks to me and says "Daddy, I wuv you." Then goes back to playing.
My dog, other dogs, puppies, dogs playing... My heart has gone to the dogs.
I love success stories, but even more, I love to see a story where someone has completely screwed up their life and then pulls themselves back up to success. I find stories like that very motivating. Jim Carrey is a great example. IDK if that qualifies as 'heart melting' but that's what I thought of when I read the post.
Samantha Grace, my granddaughter. Xena and Zelda, my cats. Random acts of kindness. My girls when they still need their mom. Videos of military kids being reunited with their military parent.
There is a lot of random kindness in this world. No cameras rolling, I do it myself... never tell anyone so don't expect examples here... In a different note... "If jesus only would had not said god was his father!!!!!" Even luke denied vader being his father"
Self sacrifice for the good of others or another.
Watching my Granddaughter becoming an intelligent little person. I want my son and daughter to video conversations of me and my Granddaughter for her grandchildren. Its awesome that every little gift we bought her is the one she plays with the most. They weren't expansive gifts. I videoed my brother before he died and gave them to his children. It's special now.
True kindness of people who go out of their way to rescue others. The videos of people helping animals in danger stuck trapped and/or dying. It makes me feel like people get it, that we are not all self serving ass holes. It makes me wish that I could be someones hero to. For a little while I am happy and warm just knowing these people exist. Then I see the news and it all comes crashing down.
The eyes, smiles, and hand-holding with my grandchildren. And if a female companion is available and willing. Also, any of them falling asleep on my chest.
