She did for about ten years but she is retired now. She still lays one or two each Spring. They're about half the size of a regular egg. Bite-sized when boiled! @btroje

My late grandfather had a pet chicken, which for him was a thing since he wasn't particularly an animal person. Always thought after that chickens had to be pretty special to capture a heart like that one.

@Qualia They can be surprisingly relational with humans; some breeds a lot smarter than others, but all very lovable.
