Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Started under Clinton and the rest fell in line afterwards. When he got elected there was talk of a peace dividend and cutting the military budget by 50% now that the Cold War was over. Just think if that money had been spent on infastructure, education, and health care. And since 9/11 it's spun mindlessly out of control.
