What is a motivating incentive for you?

What is something, besides money, that motivates you to do something. I find that honest praise motivates me.

My children and grandchildren. They motivate me to be better and to do better. To pave a way for them so that they can do better and in turn maybe the world for them will be a better place or they will make it a better place. My hope is my example will be handed down for many generations to come after me.

Animals in need.
Need for perfection.

I'm not motivated by money, reward, praise, etc.

Though I could be motivated by avoidance of criticism or punishment.

Being appreciated.

If I will get some alone time.

If I have an option to not wear clothes (I am a naturist).

If I will be able to see the results of my efforts when I m done.

If by doing something now in the present, it will save time and/or effort in the future.
