QUESTION Mike Pence Promises Christians Will Get Special Protection

First Christians are upset because they claim giving equal rights to gays would be "special rights", now they are seeking "special rights" for themselves, and it isn't ejust equality they want want, but they want to be put above others.

In the early 19th century, Alexis de Tocqueville marveled at how religious Americans were compared to Europeans. He surmised that the reason was that people tend to resent their rulers and the church and state were one in Europe, making people less religious, while in America religious people carefully avoided all positions in government, so they didn't create that resentment.

IOW, the religious right may be actually actively driving young people away from religion by seeking to control the government. Millennials are twice as likely to be Atheists as were their parents. Young people have no tolerance for bigotry and religious people are overtly displaying their bigotry for all to see.

Never mind the US Constitution, right? Problem is, that's what the Supreme Court just ruled in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case.

I know many that claim to be christians and they don't need any protection

Isn't giving a group special rights discrimination?

1.). Those who are use to entitlement (Christians in America) see equality as persecution. 2.). Christianity is founded on a persecution complex. 3.). Does that include special protection from the Russian investigation?

Pence has never read the Constitution! Donate to the A FLU or similar, today!

I think you may have meant ACLU (American Civil Liberties union), not AFLU.

Another good group may be FFRF (Freedom From Religion Foundation).

Pence is a knowing liar.

Yes, ACLU, Spell check strikes again! In fact it just tried to make me look foolish again just now!

you know what the worst part is? Legally speaking comments Pence makes have no grounds. Statements made by politicians for campaigning purposes can not be used in interpreting constitutional nature of laws except if a very specific set of conditions are met.

This is came up during Trump's muslim ban.

Pence could literally vote the tie-winning a law called "protect Christians and murder atheists" that only allowed only Christians into america, he could publicly say that the law is for this purpose and none of this is can be brought forward in the supreme court.

Mike Pence is the 2ndgreatest piece of shit in this crooked Right Winged Administration. Division of Church and State anyone?

I'd insert the word "currently" to be the 4th word in the above statement.

Creeping religion from a creepy religionist. Beware of Pence he will soon be holding his own inquisition.

Time for that religutard to be removed. He needs to get booted before anything happens to 45. As bad as Cheeto-vonTweeto is, Pence is exponentially worse.

Seconded. With trembling, anticipatory terror.

Cheeto von Tweeto is a new one. LOL
