I wonder how many of the animals on the ark are going extinct because of the commandment to humans "be fruitful and multiply"?

So funny, plus where the hell did Ken Hamm learn the story of Noah? It's like he made it up. Dinosaurs on the ark? Lol, and bringing Matt D. along? Great.

But we modern Americans are judging religious beliefs with our modern, rational, western ideas.
Nobody does that to other world religions..who tries to find scientific evidence for Hindu beliefs? Or tries to prove Buddhist ideology?
They are just traditions that give people something to worship, rules to follow that reassure people their after-death will be OK, etc.

Similar, in a way, to some Americans thinking NFL players are really from their sponsoring cities, and prove some sort of superiority for their regions by "winning" a football game.

The issue is that evangelicals hold tight to the Bible as LITERAL truth in spite of all evidence to the contrary, ignoring or distorting science in order to hold on to beliefs that were invented to explain things at a time when humans did not have the knowledge to explain them.

@A2Jennifer But the other religions do the same. For some reason, their believers don't question even the most outrageous beliefs. Foreign teachers sometimes made the mistake of teasing Thai students by pretending to see a "ghost" and not only did all the students stampede out of the classroom, they'd refuse to ever use that room again, in case there really was a ghost.
