I don’t need the stuff, lol I don’t think, but am interested in taking it anyway. Do y’all have stories?
My friend took it when he was in his 30s for fun. He had to go to the ER for help. It would not go down despite numerous orgasms. He said it was the most painful thing he had ever experienced. We laughed a long time about that.
What was the treatment? Or just observation?
@NothinnXpreVails to be honest idk. He passed away years ago so I can't ask him either.
I’m sorry @EllenDale
@NothinnXpreVails He was waiting for insurance to kick in to get help for his heart. But he had FUN FUN FUN while he was here.
Lowers my blood pressure. No ED however.
I didn't know it helps lower blood pressure. I actually assumed the exact opposite. Ha!
Well, if it functions by unconstricting vessels in the penis (idk if that’s how it works), that would increase the volume of the circulatory system, and decrease the fluid pressure in the sealed system.
@NothinnXpreVails correct, that's why it works for me.
Had a BF who took it occasionally. As we aged and he was on all kinds of meds that messed with his natural responses, he could still get it up, just not quite as...strong. Viagra just gave that little extra boost that I certainly appreciated. And he never had a four hour erection or any other side effects that he complained about.
Probably not a good idea. Too much of a good thing and all that.
Have never taken it, but one day soon may need to.
A friend is on serious medication and has lost her libido, the meds came down and things were slowly improving, 2 months ago they increased her meds slighlty, and libido totaly gone and she is very upset about it. Have spoken to many other people on the same meds, male and female and all report the same problem. There was walk of a female viagra, but apparently it takes days to work and may be contra indicated with the meds she is on. Why are things never simple.
Have seen the tragic results in the emergency department when the four hour limit is exceeded.

@NerdyOkieDude I lol'd at that! Thanks for the laugh.
I had urethral cancer last year. The surgery wasn't pleasant. It left me with serious ED, my doctor gave me Viagra, but I don't see how that can work since there they removed everything inside. Any comments?
No clue
Didn't the doctor explain it to you?
I presume you were left with the hydraulics or they would have done a penile implant. Therefore the Viagra should work. - Please talk to your Dr. Because you should know this.
When I was in my 60s, I took Viagra, not to get an erection, but to maintain one for an hour or more. Why rush?
No ill side effects?
@NothinnXpreVails the usual, kind of flush feeling in the face and head, but nothing uncomfortable for me and what was there was well worth the results. I never had a headache
Here's a story I wouldn't want spread around. In the early days of e-cigs, a Chinese company was selling juice with breathable vitamins and other stuff in them; one option was cialis. I tried it on a whim. Worked fine, except that Mr. Woodrow felt like it was actually made of wood. no repeat business from me. Much better to let my wife work her magic.
You might get the worst headache of your life and see everything as blue. Also if you remain tumescent in 4 hours <or so> go to your nearest ER to have your member drained of excess blood. But otherwise - sure take it if you don' t need it!.
If I get an erection that lasts four hours or more, I'm telling my doctor.
I'm also telling EVERYONE ELSE.
@ErikGunderson rofl - Though I just had a flashback to True Blood when Jason had to go into the ER for this reason. Oh boy. And correcting this it was "Vampire Blood" here's the link:
@ErikGunderson If you had an erection that lasted that long, you might not be able to.
20+ years ago I was with a woman and we were very close to getting intimate for the first time. But she chickened out at the last minute and left. The 3 hour erection I was left with almost made me a cripple. It HURTS and is nothing to joke about.
I hope you're okay now, @bbrich57.
Interesting how women are weighing in on this....hmmm.
Yeah, it helps. That's why even the pros, aka male porn actors, take it too.
Viagra was introduced in 1998, completely revitalizing the porn industry.
Just curious - why would you want to take it if you don't need it? Are there other benefits?
There's a variety of uses it has been adopted for other than ED, some not necessarily legal or recommended by doctors, others still being researched, such as helping with jet lag.
I've a friend who took it recreationally despite not having ED. Later, he reported back that he and his wife had "a lot of fun." I wasn't there, so I've decided to take him at his word.
It works on the cardiovascular system, dilating several arteries and veins. So, yes it does have some other benefits, though there are other drugs for those benefits that are not nearly as expensive.
Not me... but viagra use is rampage in the porn industry. Never seen one pill... When my time comes I will consume it. To me if you don't needed and take it... it will give the wrong message to the body and may accelerate your demise. I am pretty freaky as it is. Grateful how I am. But when the time comes. I will be like the rest of joe's that need them... But Not Before.
@VirginCotton I don't doubt for a moment Viagra is Effective and Great... I know one day my time will come... is the pill zillions of men had prayed for since our first embarrassment... When Viagra came out, I was in Germany in a Nato joint command of all branches and many civilian contractors and the military doctors were giving them away at a drum of 2 a week for those that requested them to a doctor... I was asked many times to get them but just like other things that do not tempted me... I wasn't tempted, I wasn't interested on the money to be made... I had been "gifted", by now I thought I will be in the club... but I have no demand in my body. If I encounter a partner that to satisfy her I need it. I will swallow them like candy but I am a 20th century man with a natural appetite beyond the normal and it will change my psyche once the first use... but I am relieved because I have a Veteran Administration behind me willing to get me some I guess if in need but appreciate your offer and not keeping it to yourself as a secret not willing to share. Thanks.
@VirginCotton Thank You for your service. Yep, it was my first enlistment, did my 20 years, saw my rate go from Radioman to Information System Technician. RM to IT. Learned everything from Morse Code to Network Manager at DISA Europe. from Pri Ship to Shore to CMS Custodian. Not Bad 20 years, The Navy was Really an Adventure... in and outside the boat. I was the lucky motherfucker with a 4 year tour... 12 minutes from my neighborhood. I did tours in Spain, Greece and Germany also. No complaints were my Rate took me. Navy is not for everybody but sure it was for me. My best decision I ever made other than choosing the right mother for my children. I been lucky to retire with Gold and Honorable Discharge despite my adventures in 5 continents.
