Never know until you try! I was becoming increasingly annoyed with forum alt-right attacks when a college prof. colleague gave me the link to this website, so have only recently joined.
It's probably not a large enough group to be very useful as a dating site, but some people have found their special one through interacting with others in intelligent conversation.
