I've taken some hang gliding lessons before so I put myself in the pilot's place and was trying to figure out how to control the craft with someone grabbing at me and shifting our weight. Meanwhile, the wind is forcing you up instead of down, you've got trees to contend with, and you're trying to get down and find a safe spot to land asap.
