Mosdef. I've been trying to get folks to understand this for years.

When they eventually gain political power there will be a reckoning.
The old farts retiring at 55 with higher incomes than them will need to make some adjustments.
No doubt lots of retirees have worked hard & deserve a decent retirement but many are very well off b/c of the incredible & unsustainable govt debts that allowed a false prosperity to benefit older generations.
The millennials are not going to just meekly accept the responsibility for all that debt that they didn't benefit from but will be stuck with.

Good article, I found it very informative. It makes perfect sense why young people are not buying houses and cars. On average a new car will last about 12 years.
