LINK US fertility rate is below level needed to replace population, study says - CNN

So many reasons for this, child care is as expensive as college being one. And it isn't necessarily a bad thing, over population is a crisis.

We can't afford anything.

Over population is one of the reasons I don't want to have children.

All of the above is true however it is getting to the point that we will need people to fill our military needs. We once offered citizenship to those who served in our military now we deport them?

Skynet has that covered.

If the US stop invading other countries this problem would be taken care of.

@Jolanta I am afraid as the wealtiest nation we also are the policeman of the free world but we keep stepping in s**t of our own making placing ourselves in debt fighting wars we should never be in..

I'd say it is good news that the population is decreasing as the world pppulatin has reached a point where it is destructive to the climate and the damage we are doing will likely result in a climate that doesn't support human life at all any more. Reducing the population increases the chance of long term human survival by reducign the amoutn of damage done to our environment.

After my trip to California, where I was stuck in traffic and stuck in huge lines at tourist traps for most of the 10 days, all I can say is Fantastic!

Of course if we let more refugees in this would not be a problem.
