This was a novel case. There is a 3rd phase to come, in which the judge has to rule on the constitutionality of the decision. It might serve as a precedent to go after other groups doing illegal acts.
KKK is truly heinous, but they would have to be found guilty of something before being subject to any kind of forfeiture.
