This kind of relates to something I've been thinking about lately. Remember how Trump met with the RNC and some kind of deal was struck with them to let him run as a Republican? Now that we know a Russian operative (Butina) essentially infiltrated the NRA, isn't it possible that the RNC also had been compromised by Russian operatives, which had something to do with whatever deal they came to with Trump, and maybe explains his behavior regarding Russia and Putin?
