Have you ever gone to visit someone after they’ve told you that you’re welcome anytime then once you visit every now and then, they start to act funny towards you?

I dunno if it’s just me, but over the years, I’ve personally grown tired of people. I’ve been invited several times by people that I’m welcome anytime to visit, but when I did they would eventually start acting very strange. I also made sure I wasn’t visiting everyday, either. At the most I would visit every once a week or once every two weeks so I knew for a fact I wasn’t over visiting. Has anybody else ever had this problem?

Sorry to get so far off topic. To directly answer your question: Yes, I've had people act that way towards me but I'm 6'5" and kind of expect it. People are weirdos

Get a dog!

When you say you've personally grown tired of people? I am so on that page with you, I'm considering doing the "save a dog from the needle" gig and start fostering dogs that just need a little pack reinforcement. A little grooming a little love and on to a happy adopted family. Fuck people. Give me a dog anyday.

I've thought about taking in senior dogs. Kind of like a dog hospice. No one wants an old dog. But they deserve a good end of life.

@Wildflower Not only do they desrve a good life, as the domesticator and genetic engineer of their current species, we owe them a good life!

Jewel, I have had that problem my entire life. In my case it has a lot to do with being a non-believer or just not having many things in common. I can understand when you are a smoker and they are not. (I'm a non-smoker.) I can understand if you drink and they do not. (I never drink and visit anyone.) I have a theist friend I have known since age 12 and his wife really doesn't like me being around. That's why I don't go there much. Sometimes I start thinking it's OK to discuss their subjects but they get uncomfortable discussing yours. People are weird.
