Whould you date a woman UFC fighter? (I'm asking men and women). I'm curious, seems a little scary as a man to date a woman that could beat my ass, or at least hold her own against me(not a small man).

If we feel comfortable and are both strongly attracted to one another, then what difference would it make, really? It might be kind of nice to have a bodyguard. 🙂

ABSOLUTELY. I'm an enthusiastic but utterly crap kickboxer. Standing up with people well out of my league is a joy.

why not? woman do it all the time

I was a former personal security specialist aka bodyguard, trained MMA style, and AAU full contact, so I would enjoy training and dating with a female.of a similar background, but that's not a deal breaker, I'm not judgemental,it's heart and intelligence that's a deal breaker.

I probably would, unless she's neurotic about eating. Food is more than numbers.

They all kick our ass. Just different methods.

I'd be perfectly fine with dating a UFC or other fighter-type, if our personalities matched. Although I worry that someone who seeks such an intense hobby might get bored with someone like me, and I'd be intimidated by the feeling I would need to "keep up". But you never know, maybe she'd be looking for someone less intense to relax with.
So, short answer yes. haha

Wow I got a lot of answers fast. Interesting enough almost all positive and from both men and women. Not what I was expecting, which is good for the world, we are more accepting of things not the norm than I thought, which is not so good for me. I obviously need to broaden my horizions. Thanks everybody for answering my question.

It would not bother me except for the knocks and bruises she might have all over her after she fights. As for women beating you up if that is your fear of a female UFC fighter, I knew a young woman named Sally that could always beat my ass. A great amount of my time in life has went to weight training and working out. I have very large arms and weigh over 250 lbs. I was once very good at arm wrestling. It still didn't matter. Sally was a buzz saw and she could beat my ass. Hmmm. Maybe I should have married Sally.

I would date Ronda Rousey - and a few other women of the UFC. It doesn't really matter if they can kick my butt or not. What would I be afraid of? I mean, what sort of things would have to go through my head that would make me think: "when push comes to shove, at [whatever] particular situtation, would she kick the shit out of me?"

I'd dig having a chick I could spar with. As long as she fits in the other ways that are important.

Women date men that can "beat their ass" all the time. It wouldn't bother me in the least.

1

As long as she is not a religious nut ye. If she is smart yes. I don't judge a book by its cover. If we are compatible and are good together, I would not let the fact that she knows how to fight be a negative factor.

Well, I wouldn't date a woman because that's not my orientation, but I dated a retired pro-am wrestler for awhile. He really was great at cracking my back. I never realized my back was chronically uncomfortable until the first time he did that.

I can understand how some people are attracted to muscles, some are unattracted by too muscular of a body, and some people don't overly care. For women dating men, we're used to the fact that at least almost all of the guys we date could beat us to death if they so chose. I even had the misfortune of finding out that if a guy is mad enouogh, even the skinniest walking skeleton of a guy can forcibly rape you (the reason why I will never break up with a guy alone and in person again).

Although guys will usually be the strongest one though, no guy should ever assume that he is totally safe just because he is a guy. I knew a huge (tall and kind of wide, but seen a very few bigger) mountain of a man who was stabbed on two occasions by his teeny, tiny little girlfriend. The second time he lost a kidney. Even guys we both knew wondered aloud how anyone, much less anyone her size, could stab through that much flesh to get to his kidney, much less destroy it.

Unless your pick-up line is "Wanna arm wrestle?" you don't have any idea what you're getting - and even then, she or he could throw the game, so you still may not know, or worse, may think you know but you don't.

I don't know, women date men all the time that could beat their ass. As far as I know, generally we aren't scared. It's a little different, when the shoes on the other foot??

Without hesitation. My daughter is highly qualified in Thai Kickboxing, ju-jitzu and mixed martial arts, she can whip my butt anyday. I have known a few very strong women, including an ex miss universe (muscle builder) she was married and not my type, too many steroids, but not intimidating. People may stop kicking sand in my face at the beach then.

It would be scary to date someone physically capable of handling themselves in a fight?

I personally would date a UFC fighter, yes, if we were friends and had that connection first.

2

And yet women date people who can (and do) beat their asses literally all the time. Really With this question, dude? You do realize every woman you've dated has dated you despite the fact that you probably could beat the crap out of her, right?

@Cassandra to be fair, I do take that into consideration when dating. Women in my family seem congenitally predisposed to being beaten so I've been super careful all my life. I'm just really surprised at how the concept of dating someone who can beat him up has blown this dudes mind.

Sad thing is due to my size and appearance, has usually scared most women away since they had been beaten up by little guys, they're afraid someone my size would destroy them. And my friends will tell anyone I'm just a cuddle bear that looks like a grizzily.
