Why God, why?

If God loved us all and wanted us to go to heaven why would he allow us to go through things in life to would take us off that path? If he knows what would make us believe in him and do want he wants is to do why wouldn't he show is. If it's because of free will why would he get mad at us and start throwing temper tantrums over it? Or better yet why even create earth in the first place, when he just could have sent us directly to heaven from the beginning?

None of the above. God is just a story that people tell. A story that makes less sense the more you think about it.

Bad pole construction. Option 4. Its all a fairytale.

God is not a he & there are lots of gods. We just do not believe the concept is a true one.

God only exists as a potential in phase space, until proved to exist it exists in the quantum state of simultaneously being and not being.
However uniquely once proven to exist by it's own defining characteristics the ineffable and unknowable god of Christianity and the associate Abrahamic religions must cease to exist as such, and in the event of being proven not to exist it does not exist.
Therefore the Christian God can only exist in potentia
It can definite not be, but if it is then it immediately cancels itself out.

God is a human construct.

Better IMO to look with optimism and joy on the gift of existence as a consciously aware being. Stewing in conflicts brought on by illogical church dogma leads nowhere. Cast a sidelong glance and move on.

why are you asking questions that presume the existence of a god that the vast majority of us on this site do not believe even exists at all? there is no god. why are you asking us to characterize him?

p.s. no heaven either, come to think of it.
