I'll probably end up voting third-party again.

Tulsi gabbard or nina turner are about the only decent picks from the left that come to mind. I have lost all respect for bernie and warren and don't think either of them can pull enough votes after the way the 2016 primary went and how they a acted then and after the primary. warren played politics with sitting out during the primary causing alot of ppl to question her and bernie has turned a blind eye to everything the democrat party did so he has ruined his integrity now. millions of ppl left the democrat party cause of the corruption and if the nominee is the same ol cookie cutter corp owned politician then Trump will be a 2 term president.

It’s become a better idea to lay low … as not to be targeted.. The usual suspects can take the flack till then, as most have taken it for decades. I envision a governor, perhaps one in particular … but I’m not telling 😉

Tolstoy in his last book posited that the measure of a successful life is to never put your head above the parapet.

Mark Ferrell the San Francisco mayor.

Joe Kennedy III and Kirsten Gillibrand? I think Dems need to nominate young people only after making sure there are no skeletons in the closet.

I second you motion to nominate Joseph Kennedy!

The only one I know that votes the way I feel would be Bernie Sanders. The rest of the ones that have raised their hands have all voted corporate interest. That's not good for me or the country as a whole. Also they've voted for more money for military which we already spend more than the next 5 countries combined. We are either wasteful stupid or someone is filling their pockets.

The system is so far gone that your not going to see any until America wakes up and votes out all these lifetime bureaucrats who sell us down the street to lobbyist, corporate interests and whatever else benefits them personally. When I was young I was of the belief that it was going to get better and that people would wake up and start to show concern. And I was wrong. And being a Veteran has really made me irate, because these Politicians have no concern for those who stuck their lives and minds on the line while most of them were able to find a way to weasel out. I will not mention any names or Political Parties, but you can be assured that they all flock together

"Whether one considers classical, or medieval, or modern or contemporary times one is impressed by the fact that any country moving uphill has its unavoidable ? Fraction of stupid people. However the country moving uphill also has an unusually high fraction of intelligent people who manage to keep the ? Fraction at bay and at the same time produce enough gains for themselves and the other members of the community to make progress a certainty.

In a country which is moving downhill, the fraction of stupid people is still equal to ?; however in the remaining population one notices among those in power an alarming proliferation of the bandits with overtones of stupidity (sub-area B2 of quadrant B in figure 3) and among those not in power an equally alarming growth in the number of helpless individuals (area H in basic graph, fig.1). Such change in the composition of the non-stupid population inevitably strengthens the destructive power of the ? Fraction and makes decline a certainty. And the country goes to Hell." - An extract from the explanation on the fifth law of human stupidity by Professor Cipolla.
