If we dismiss and ignore these people it will be at our own peril. If given the power, they will be as bad as the Taliban; but it will be okay to them because they will do it in the name of their version of Jesus rather than Allah.

Ironically, it might hurt them more than the rest of us. Jesus was pretty adamant that we take care of the poor and helpless. He encouraged people to do away with their money, and he hated the religious elite... Oh, and he would have hated guns. It would be interesting to see if Conservatives could live under such extreme standards.
