How U.S. army divers are helping to clean the oceans

In Washington State, the saltwater Puget Sound is cold and deep. The Army has expensive boats with hyperbaric chambers for deep sea divers.

From the bottom of the Puget Sound, Army divers are removing large fishing nets that entangle fish and wildlife.

"In the U.S., you drive six hours to get to 100-foot depth- with no training being done."

Washington State has a commitment to clean up the oceans. Bravo!

The military should be used this way in order to help and make things better. It gives them a worthwhile thing to do and maybe they do not want war. In Kenya the military runs the animal rescue center near Nairobi. They take that job very seriously.

Good use of the military and their equipment. They do a lot more than just than go to distant lands and meet exotic people.
