I would say there's little doubt that with this president in particularly that racism guided this decision to some extent. And many decisions he's made. So has the closely related ethnocentrism he exhibits. As well as his bias against non-Christians and non-Jews. He has made too many decisions founded in large part on all this crap. National security and other matters are more of an afterthought, as in making it look legitimate.
