Ahh, haven’t heard this in a while: Thanks! I liked this version of the story, and the music really added to the mood of the film. An unusual “war movie,” with striking cinematography and some good performances.

The film also features several Melanesian choral songs and chants, performed by the Choir of All Saints from Honiara, only one of which ("God Yu Tekem Laef Blong Mi" ) is featured on the soundtrack.

I counted two, three if you include the different version on one song in the closing credits iirc.
