My guess would be that Iowa, my state, gets more fed money than it gives, esp. all the farmers that get subsidies from the feds. My state has been voting red most of the time for quite a while.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the takers generally red States?

I know the top givers, California, new York, and new Jersey are blue.

So does Mitch want his own kind to suffer while claiming it's meant to hurt the other side?

And does he realize that there are red voters in blue states?
