Staying up late to watch my night blooming cereus flowers open .... this is so magical to me. These beautiful blooms with a fragrance unique to this world (as it opens next to me I get a whiff every now and again) last just one night. In the morning they become a mop. Maybe 6 or 7 hours. Why sleep when I can experience one night of magic.
