Well - yes?

I mean "Wasn't that obvious?" - it's like we're all bandits. They can only profile the top portion of our faces while we're wearing masks and that's not usually how an ID is made.

Discouraging mask-wearing also will reduce population, which would make surveillance an easier job. Heh.

It would be better if they just focused on identifying fishy people, rather than trying to connect anyone they can identify with something fishy.
