His morals are questionable and I find him to be generally a very punchable person.

His positions are derived from his religious belief. Religious belief is dependent upon faith-based reasoning which is in direct opposition to logic. So, I don't see how his reasoning can be logical.
I'd certainly agree that he lacks empathy.
