They should pass a law that every time someone is harmed because of printing Mohammed cartoons the State should broadcast an hour of Mohammed cartoons. Then those protesting such things would be complicit in even more things as bad.
Anyone of any religion who kicks up a fuss about people mocking their ridiculous "prophets" deserves to be put in prison for life - they are stirring up hate that they know damn well can lead to murder, and often that's exactly what they're hoping will happen. The trouble with that though is that if you were to take action of that kind to try to stamp it out, you would just hide the bigotry for a few decades or centuries and have it all reveal itself later once the bigots are numerous enough to take over and impose their law on everyone else - they can easily bully all the more peaceful members of their faith into line by pointing to the authority of the holy texts that back the violence, as happens in countries where they already dominate and regularly sentence people to death for blasphemy. What we should actually do is make it fully legal for people to call for people to be killed for such things as insulting their "prophets" and for blasphemy, because that way everyone would get a clear picture of just how extensive and widespread the bigotry is and understand that it isn't just a tiny minority of terrorists who think that way.
Here we go again, trying not to hurt the sentiments of "moderate Muslims" while condemning this barbarism. What is moderation when it comes comes to believing in a religion that is so hateful and intolerant towards outsiders? As far as these moderates exist, they provide a large recruitment pool for the so called "radicals".
When will people come to their senses? Or would a better question be when will they get some sense? I can't wrap my mind around the urge to kill anyone.
Such people are incapable of "coming to their senses". They are criminally insane, you see.
